Guam – Governor Eddie Baza Calvo today [Friday] proclaimed Catholic School week which starts tomorrow and runs through next Friday February 4. During a ceremony at Adelup today with Catholic school students, parents, teachers and administrators Governor Calvo said: “My children are products of both public and Catholic schools. My wife and I know how much Catholic schools have contributed to this island. We thank you for your service to the community, and for everything you do to raise generations of Guamanians strong in their faith.”
Cynthia Agbulos, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, and Monsignor David Quitugua joined scores of students from almost every Catholic school on Guam for the proclamation.
