Guam – Governor Felix Camacho issued a statement today [Wednesday] saying that he and his staff are reviewing the Record of Decision which was finally posted online today, 24 hours after it was signed.
According to that statement:
“At this time my office along with key government of Guahan department and agency experts are reviewing the details of the ROD.”
“While it is important that we ensure the concerns that we’ve expressed in the past and those that still remain are acknowledged and acted upon; I want to give each of our subject matter experts the time to thoroughly review the ROD and the effects it will have on our island.”
“Though the issuance of the ROD signifies the forward movement of the buildup on Guahan, we will ensure each step forward does not harm our quality of life.”
