Governor’s Community Outreach Office Applies for $800K Federal Grant


Guam – The Governor’s Community Outreach Federal Programs Office has applied for an $800,000 grant from the U.S. Department Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women.

The grant request has a CFDA number of 16.589. It has a projected start date of October 1, 2011 and ends on September 30, 2014.

Funds from this grant will be used to identify, assess, and appropriately respond to child, youth and adult victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking in rural areas or rural communities.
