In an interview on NewsTalk K57 with Patti Arroyo, Department of Labor Director Dave Dellisola, and Public Information Officer Janela Carrera, said that this job fair is for anyone who is looking for a job or wants to see what jobs are out there.

Director Dellisola stated, “Here, you get to explore what your options are. See what’s available out there and maybe you might have an offer that you said, ‘Wow, I never thought that’s something I want to do. And also maybe you want to see something and say ‘Hey, there’s a great career opportunity here but I need training.’ come on over to the AJC area where out training providers are and they will tell you what kind of training, what kind of opportunities, what may be available ”

During this event, there will also be military recruiters present. Among the military recruiters, assistants and counselors will also be there to aid residents in making the career choice that’s right for them.

Carrera stated, “We’re going to have dozens of employers on-site. We’re going to have hiring managers on-site, application assistants, and resume-building assistance. We’re going to have counselors on-site who are going to help you make that decision, in case you’re not ready to make that career growth or you’re not ready to decide at that very moment.”–OUT:00:04:46}
