Guam – The Guam Power Authority has issued a traffic advisory asking motorists to be cautious this week if they encounter GPA crews trimming trees around the island.
GPA Spokesman Art Perez advises that GPA contractors will be conducting vegetation clearing off power lines and poles.
The tree trimming is taking place from 7am until 3:30pm from this morning, Monday, December 23rd, and it will continue through through Friday, December 27th.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution in these work areas.
LOCATIONS:
Southern Area: Agana Route 4, Apra Height, Santa Rita.
Central Areas: Chalan Pago(Maimai, Route 4), Barrigada, Pagat Mangilao
Northern Areas: Yigo (Chalan Cabesa, Matagua), Tamuning, Dededo (Yseng song)
This traffic advisory is necessary as a safety precaution to contractor crews as work is completed. Your patience and understanding is most appreciated.
