Guam – The Guam Power Authority reports that the Macheche Power Plant has gone off line.
That has caused a widespread power outage which began at about 2:25 pm this afternoon [Monday].
The outage is effecting the following areas.
1. Dededo Village to Kaiser areas;
2. Harmon towards Old Australian Cable areas down to San Vitores Road;
3. Agana to Mongmong, Kanada Road to Maite Calvo area;
4. Talofofo to golf course on right side to Route 17 to Guam Adventist Academy, Baza Garden to Route 4;
5. Tamuning to former Sport O Dome area towards First Hawaiian Bank, down to former Nissan Auto City
Restoration is ongoing, but no time for full restoration has been set yet.
