The Guam Power Authority’s procurement division is hosting a vendor outreach for existing and potential vendors seeking to conduct business with GPA.
Art Perez, GPA public information officer, told the Patti Arroyo show on NewsTalk K57 that the outreach event will be an opportune time to familiarize companies with the requirements and procurement processes involved with GPA.
“This is the first time that we’re doing this. Hopefully, if it is successful, we can do it annually,” Perez said.
Companies doing or seeking to do business with GPA are encouraged to bring their Capabilities Statement, product and/or services brochures, and business cards to the outreach event.
So that when we do have bids that open up, ranging from advertising to materials.
“Businesses are always changing and as businesses grow, they may expand their services. Now, If we don’t know about this, how can we contact the business if a need opens up for a particular service or product that the business carries? So this is a great opportunity for existing and new businesses alike,” Perez said.
He added that the event will be held over a two-day period to allow vendors flexibility in schedule.
The vendor outreach will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Wednesday, July 31, 2019, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the 1st floor of the Gloria B. Nelson Public Service Building in Fadian, Mangilao.
