Guam – The Guam Power Authority’s Supply Management Supervisor Jamie Pangleinan is on leave amidst allegations that she engaged in “insider-trading”.
Sources close to GPA tell PNC News that Pangelinan has been accused of steering business towards a relative.
According to those sources, the decision to place Pangelinan on leave was made during Executive Session at last Tuesday’s Board meeting.
GPA’s Art Perez declined to discuss the allegations calling it a “personnel matter”.
Earlier this year, Morrico Equipment President Allan Morrison called the procurement counsel and procurement staff at GPA “totally incompetent” in the award of a multi-year bucket truck contract. And he accused GPA procurement employees of “acting contrary to law” and said they should be “held accountable”.
