Guam – The Guam Power Authority Thursday celebrated the renewal of its performance management contract with Taiwan Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Services.
TEMES, as they’re known, has been in a public-private partnership with GPA for the past 16 years. The Taiwanese company provides training and procurement services as well as managing Cabras Units 1 and 2. The agreement renews that relationship for another 5 years.
The 5 year contract with TEMES is valued in the neighborhood of $13-million dollars. And it carries the option for a 5-year re-newal provided that the performace goals are met.
