GPD: 3 Arrested on Burglary Charges; 2 Children Taken Into Protective Custody


Guam – Guam Police arrested 3 adults on burglary and drug charges following a raid on an Agat home Thursday.

Guam Police Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia says the home was raided at 6am Thursday morning by CID detectives who executed a search warrant that was issued based on “the high possibility of stolen merchandise within the home.”

2 children who lived with the suspects were placed in protective custody because of the unsanitary conditions in that home.

Officer Balajadia described the conditions at the home as being  “less than habitable.”  A 5 year old and a 16 year old were taken into the care of Child Protective Services.

The 3 adults arrested are:

ROLAND JAMES SANTOS,m/Chamorro/43/Agat, for 3counts Burglary, Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance, 3counts Possession of a Firearm without a Firearms I.D., 3counts Illegal Transfer of a Firearm, 2counts Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Transfer, and 2counts Child Abuse.


JACOB FLORES MESA,m/Chamorro/21/Agat, for Illegal Transfer of a Firearm, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Guilt Established by
Complicity, Criminal Facilitation, and Unsworn Falsification.

ANA MANGLONA MESA,f/Chamorro/Agat, for 2counts Child Abuse, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Property,
and Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance.
