GPD & ATF Raid Harmon Home; Seize Handguns, Rifles, Drugs & Stolen Property

Guam – Guam Police Officers and agents from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms [ATF] raided a residence near the Harmon Soccer Filed Saturday April 2 and seized guns, drugs and stolen property.

ATF Agent in charge George Maston told PNC that a warrant was executed at 314 South Okkudu off the South Okkudu Pipeline Road. Handguns, rifles as well as drugs and stolen property was seized, he said.

Maston confirmed that arrests have been made but could not say who or provide further details at this time.

Guam Police PIO Officer A.J. Balajadia says the raid was the result of a follow-up investigation on a retail theft complaint at “The Point” at DFS in Tumon.

Offcier Balajadia said that about a half-dozen handguns and 13 rifles were seized in the raid, and unspecified stolen property was recovered.

The raid was a joint effort of GPD’s Criminal Investigations Section, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Violent Street Crimes Task Force, and officers from the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct Command.

Saturday, April 02, 2011, following up on a Retail Theft complaint at the DFS (The Point)in Tumon. Officers received additional information that lead to a warrant being served at a residence located off the South Okkudu Pipeline Road by the Harmon Soccer Field. A joint effort with Criminal Investigations Section, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Violent Street Crimes Task Force, and officers from the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct Command resulted in the recovery of stolen property to include approximately 6-7 handguns and 13 rifles.
