Guam – Following up on 3 and 5 year old cases, Guam Police have arrested a Jose Rios Middle School teacher and charged him with child abuse and stalking.
54 year old Lawrence T. Laguana of Dededo has been booked and confined on charges of child abuse and official misconduct in one case, and stalking and family violence in another case.
He’s accused of inappropriate behavior involving a minor female student in 2007. He’s also accused of stalking a female known to him in 2009.
According to a release from GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia, the arrest was made after detectives with the Juvenile Investigations Division followed up on some cold cases involving the same suspect dating back to 2007 and 2009.
