Guam – The Guam Police Department has released the names of the victims of Saturday’s fatal traffic accident at the intersection of Route 1 and Wusstig Road.
According Acting Public Information Officer Mercy Grino 70-year old Felizardo B. Baes of Dededo, 28-year old Stoney Onosee Rong of Dededo and 30-year old Sataky Kutta were killed in the crash. Grino says Rong was driving the a Toyota Tercel when it broadsided a Toyota Corollo. Kutta was a passenger in Rong’s vehicle. Baes was the driver and only occupant in the Toyotta Corolla. Their deaths mark the 12th, 13th and 14th traffic-related fatalities on Guam Roads this year.
Grino says the investigation into the accident continues but speed, alcohol and road conditions are being looked at as possible contributing factors in the collision. Grino asks any witnesses to the crash to contact Guam Highway Patrol Division at 475-8463, extension 5.
