GPD investigates death of an unidentified male individual in Harmon

Guam – A man was discovered unresponsive in Harmon at around 7 am on Tuesday, his death is under investigation.

Little details have been provided by police as they investigate the death of an unidentified male individual.

Police provided the location of the investigation sharing that the man was discovered unresponsive at LSP Construction behind SJ mart on Adrian Sanchez street in Harmon.

Multiple police officers and the Crime Scene Investigation unit appeared to be cataloging the scene and canvassing the area speaking with individuals in surrounding establishments to gain a clearer picture of what transpired.

“Now the GPD has launched a death investigation at this time. Currently we have our investigators out of GPD’s Criminal Investigation on scene to include all our crime scene investigators from the GPD crime lab. This case is ongoing, there’s still other loose ends we need to tie up,” said GPD Spokesman Sgt Paul Tapao.

A death investigation is launched when an individual’s cause of death is being determined by authorities.

While no information was provided on how the man may have died, Tapao did indicate that the male individual was transported to Guam Regional Medical City where he was pronounced dead by attending doctors at around 8 am.
