GPD investigating drive-by shooting near Shirley’s in Tamuning


The Guam Police Department is investigating a shooting incident in Tamuning this morning.

According to preliminary police reports, at around 11:25 am, the victims were motoring north on Governor Carlos Camacho Road, in Tamuning, and heard a loud bang as they passed Shirley’s Restaurant.

The occupants observed a silver Toyota Corolla with dark tint had passed them at a high rate of speed, traveling in the median lane towards Farenholt Avenue.

The victims then pulled into Oka Payless Parking and discovered a hole, possibly from an unknown type of projectile to the rear passenger’s quarter panel area.

The victims did not sustain any injury during this incident.

This investigation is on-going and has been relinquished to GPD’s Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
