Traffic investigators from GPD’s Highway Patrol Division were activated to assume a fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Anigua.
On Friday, April 3, at around 8:00 p.m., officers assigned to the Central Precinct Command responded to an auto-pedestrian crash that occurred in Anigua.
According to Guam Police Department spokesman Paul Tapao, preliminary reports suggest that a red pickup truck traveling on the inner westbound lane, collided with
a man who was walking on the inner westbound lane.
As a result of the crash, the male victim was transported to Naval Hospital Guam, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending physicians.
This case is ongoing as traffic investigators have yet to determine if speed, alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
