GPD investigating fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Dededo

The Guam Police Department is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred on Saturday, February 27, 2021, in Dededo by 76 Circle K Gas Station.

Preliminary reports suggest that shortly before 10:30 pm, a white Toyota T-100 was motoring on the eastbound inner lane, on Route 1 Marine Corps Drive in Dededo by 76 Circle K Gas Station when the pickup struck a male pedestrian.

According to GPD spokesman Sgt I Paul S.N. Tapao, the male victim was immediately transported to Guam Regional Medical City for treatment and care.

He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending physicians.

This case has been forwarded to GPD’S Highway Patrol Division for a follow-up investigation.
