On Wednesday, March 25, officers from the Southern Precinct Command responded to a shooting complaint at Toves Piti Market.
Preliminary reports suggest that at around 11:30 a.m., the complainant was parked along the Fish Eye Marine Park in Asan, when he heard the shattering of glass but did not hear a popping sound.
The complainant immediately saw the damages to his car window and drove to Toves Piti Market for safety.
A check was made within the vehicle where the remnants of a pellet projectile were located lodged in the window.
A check was made to the immediate surroundings for any witnesses or evidentiary value. However, none were located.
The complainant was not harmed.
The Guam Police Department is seeking help from the community relative to this incident.
