Death investigation launched after reported shooting in Agana Heights

Police have launched a death investigation after discovering a lifeless man at a home in Agana Heights this afternoon.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male individual who was found lifeless following a reported shooting at a residence on Chalan Tatujan Drive in Agana Heights at around 2:30 this afternoon.

GPD Spokesman Sgt Paul Tapao reported that the male individual was possibly in his 30s to early 40s. No other information regarding the deceased was provided.

Tapao stated that officers from the Criminal Investigation Division and crime scene investigators arrived to analyze the scene.

A man identified as a person of interest is currently being questioned by authorities.

The case is in its preliminary stages of investigation. This is a developing story.
