According to Berlyn Savella, Public Information Officer for GPD, at around 6:50 am on Saturday, February 5th, an 81-year-old male was hit by a car on Route 16 at the overpass in Alegeta street Barrigada. He was crossing the street.
The victim was promptly transported to GRMC with CPR. At 6:57 am, the man was declared deceased by attending physicians.
GPD is asking the community who might have been traveling the area between the hours of 6 to 7 am on February 5th and might have information regarding the incident to contact GPD dispatch at 671-485-8615 through 7.
