GPD Makes 3 Arrests in Southern High Burglary

Guam – Guam Police have arrested a Santa Rita man and 2 juveniles in connection with a burglary at the Southern High School Student Store last night [Thursday].

GPD Public Information Officer A.J. Balajadia says that G-4-S Security contacted Police to report an alarm had activated at the Southern High School Student Store. 

When Police arrived on the scene they found that the store had been broken into.

Later an Officer saw some suspicious men walking in the Santa Rosa Sub-Division, one of  whom was carrying a duffel bag. The Officer stoped the men and found that the bag contained a screw driver, hammer, aerosol spray can, lighter and cell phone.

Police arrested Chris Junior Andersen Tedtaotao on charges of Burglary, and Jurisdiction Over an Adult. He has been booked and confined.

Also taken into custody were 2 juvenile boys, a 17 and a 15 year old.

Both of them have also been charged  with Burglary, Conspiracy, Guilt Established by Complicity, Crimes Against the Community, and Violation of Curfew.  The 2 teens have been confined at DYA.

At 12:47 am, 2/18/11, G4S contacted Police Dispatch regarding an activated alarm at Southern High School Student Store.  After a check of the school, it was discovered the Student Store had been broken into.

Arrested CHRIS JUNIOR ANDERSON TEDTAOTAO, m/Gua/Santa Rita, for Burglary, and Jurisdiction Over an Adult. Booked and confined

Also taken into custody is a male/Gua/17 and a male/Gua/15. Both charged with Burglary, Conspiracy, Guilt Established by Complicity, Crimes Against the Community, and Violation of Curfew. Both confined at DYA

ROBBERY

At about 8:30am, Friday, February 18, 2011, officers with the Agat Precinct responded to a robbery at the Oceanside Store, Agat.  It was reported that two male individuals robbed the cashier and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect 1: Black Beanie Cap, Large Dark Sunglasses, Black Long Sleeve Shirt.

Suspect 2: No description given

Armed with a large stick.

BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

10:33am, Friday, February 18, 2011, officers received a call of a burglary in progress at a residence located in the Laguina Estates, off Rt.4A, Talofofo.

The owner of a residence came home to find a car with it’s engine running parked in her garage.  She also noticed a front window broken on her residence.  She contacted a male neighbor and the Guam Police Department.

As the home owner waited for the police to arrive, the suspect exited her home holding her personal property in his hands.  The suspect at first attempted to leave, however gave up when the homeowner and the neighbor refused to let him go.

Police arrested: ROLLY JAY DEGRACIA NAPUTI, m/Gua/25/Talafofo, for Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Possession of a Firearm with a Firearms ID. Booked and confined

MINORS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY / BURGLARY BENAVENTE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Friday, February 18, 2011, Juvenile Investigations Agents arrested two male minors after following up on information, regarding the break-ins at Benavente Middle School, on February 4 – 7, 2011.

Male/Chuk/17/Dededo was arrested for Burglary, Burglary to a Vehicle, Conspiracy, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Underage Drinking, Curfew Violation, Crimes Against the Community, Criminal Mischief, and Retail Theft.

Male/Chuk/15/Dededo same charges.  Both were confined at DYA.
