Guam – Guam Police have made a number of arrests over the past few days relating to seperate incidents. GPD Spokesman A.J. Balajadia announces the following arrests:
August 14, 2010, Hagatna Precinct officers responded to a Auto Crash, Rt.8 entrance to San Jose Market, Maite. According to the victim, a vehicle turned left from the center lane of Rt.8 by San Jose Market, into his path causing the vehicles to collide. The operator of the vehicle that failed to yield, fled the scene. Following up on the Hit and Run case, officers arrested, BNS Achurd, m/Chuk/27/Toto, for Failure to Yield to Oncoming Traffic, No valid Drivers License, Leaving the Scene of an Accident with injuries, and Unauthorized use of a motor Vehicle. Booked and confined.
August 16, 2010, 12:30 am, an employee making a check of the Agana Hgts. Mayors Office, noticed a male individual holding a crow bar. The Maintenance Shop, and Senior Citizens Center showed signs of attempted entry. Officers arrested William L. Gay Jr., m/Gau/46/Agana Hts., for Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Destruction of Government Property. Booked and released.
August 17, 2010, 3:05 am, officers with the Hagatna Precinct observed a male individual on the roadway of Rt.4 by the White House Apartments, Sinajana, knocking over the Orange Construction Barriers. Arrested for Obstructing Public Ways, Criminal Mischief, Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct, Derrick Wesesen, m/Chuk/22/Sinajana. Booked and confined.
August 17, 2010, Officers with the Dededo Precinct Command responded to a possible recovered stolen moped, within the parking lot of Rt.16 Napa Auto Parts. The moped was reported stolen June of 2010, and was valued at about $2,800.00. Officers took into custody a 17-yrs.old male minor for Theft of Property, Conspiracy, Criminal Facilitation, Fraudulent use of a License Plate and released him to Juvenile investigation Section. Arrested for Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Fraudulent use of a License Plate, Eric Michael Wenceslao, m/Gua/19. Booked and confined.
