GPD Officer Nabs Robbery Suspect


Guam – A Guam Police Officer with the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct arrested a man this morning who alleged grabbed a carry bag from a Korean Tourist.

GPD Public Information Officer A.J. Balajadia reports that the tourist was walking along San Vitores Road near the Tumon DFS just before 3 am this morning when his hand bag was grabbed from him.

A friend of the tourist gave chase to the suspect and caught up with him near the JP Store where the suspect reportedly turned and punched the robbery victim’s friend in the face and then ran off again.  

An un-named GPD officer was parked in the parking area of the Circle K, and was able apprehend the suspect.

19 year old Kenneth Kaleo Wright was arrested for Robbery and Guild Established by Complicity. Wright has been booked and confined.
