GPD: Guzman Alleged to Have Distributed Fake Calvo-Tenorio Document; But Did Not Author It; Investigation Continues

Guam – Guam Police Public Information Officer A.J. Balajadia today [Wednesday] provided details on Monday’s arrest of a DOE employee who allegedly distributed a fake Calvo-Tenorio campaign document.

As PNC News reported Tuesday, DOE Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Underwood confirmed that DOE maintenance employee Jeanette Guzman was arrested in the case.

Today, Officer Balajadia reports that officers with the Hagatna Precinct investigated a complaint that a DOE employee “was distributing an unofficial copy of the Calvo / Tenorio Campaign Platform, during working hours.”

As a result of that investigation 52 year old Jeanette Munoz Guzman of Santa Rita was arrested Monday on charges of  Crimes Against the Community, Guilt Established by Complicity and Official Misconduct. She was booked and released.

Guzman is alleged to have used government paper and time to produce counterfeit copies of the bogus Calvo-Tenorio Campaign Platform “BluePrint 2020.”

Officer Balajadia states that there is no indication Ms. Guzman was the author of the document. The case remains under investigation.
