UPDATE: GPD Responding to Numerous Bomb Threats at Various Schools


This brings a total of 7 bomb threats today and 31 bomb threats at local schools in a month.

Guam – The Guam Police Department is responding to numerous bomb threats this morning.

It started with Marcial Sablan Elementary School. According to GPD Spokesman Officer Paul Tapao, the bomb threat was reported at around 8 am. Students were not evacuated however there was a shelter in place. The all clear was given by school administrators.

Then at about 9:30 am, numerous bomb threats were reported at various schools. Tapao says a bomb threat was called in to George Washington High School. Students were not evacuated and they were sheltered in place. Agueda Johnston Middle School and Inarajan Middle School also received bomb threats.

At about 10:40 am, another bomb threat was reported at Oceanview Middle School.

At About 12:32 p.m., GPD issues a release regarding a bomb threat at Southern High School. The All Clear was given eight minutes after the release. 

At 2:44p.m. a student at Inarajan Middle School told PNC that their school received another bomb threat and students were placed on “lock down”.

The cases are still developing.
