Guam – Ordot-Chalan Pago Mayor Jesse Gogue tells PNC News that Guam Police were called to Ordot-Chalan Pago Elementary School this morning in response to a threatening phone call made to the school by the spouse of a school employee.

Mayor Gogue says school officials first reported to him that it was a drill only and that there was no incident at the school.

But after he received repeated phone calls from concerned parents, school officials acknowledged that there had been an incident and that they went into lock-down as a precaution.

The lock-down comes just 3 days after 27 people were killed, 20 of them first graders, by a gunman at a Connecticut Elementary School on Friday morning,.
