Guam – 8 juveniles have been arrested on charges relating to the theft spray paint cans from Rims Enterprises in Barrigada which, GPD charges, were used by the vandals to spray paint Rev and Tax and other locations along Route 16. According to a release from GPD Public Information Officer A.J. Balajadia, the Juvenile Investigations Section followed up on some leads made by the Dededo Precinct Command and subsequently arrested 8 male minors ranging from 12 to 15 years in age.
Officer Balajadia reports that the cans of spray paint were allegedly used to cover the Department of Revenue and Taxation in graffiti as well as spray paint graffiti on Our Lady of Peace, JK Title, the former Harley Davidson store and a number of power poles along Route 16.
“All eight boys were involved in the graffiti,” states Balajadia.
The youths have been charged with Burglary, Conspiracy, Crimes Against the Community, Curfew Violation, Criminal Mischief, and Theft by Receiving.
All 8 boys have been confined at the Department of Youth Affairs.
