GPD seeks help finding attempted kidnapper


The Guam Police Department is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and locating a suspect in relation to a kidnapping.

According to a media release, on Thursday, March 24th – between the hours of 4:30 and 5 PM an incident occurred on Francisco Javier Street in Agana Heights where a female minor was jogging and was faced with a man unknown to her who used force in attempts to take her into his vehicle.

GPD also reports that despite the attacker’s efforts, the victim was able to escape.

GPD is asking the community’s help as they continue to search for the man – who is between the ages of 30 to 40, dark complexion, short hair, facial sideburns, tall, with a slim build.

The suspect was described to have worn a white short-sleeve shirt, black shorts, and black slippers, and that his vehicle was described as a white older model 4 door, 4×2 rusty Toyota pickup truck with an unknown license plate.
