The Guam Police Department is seeking the help of the community relative to an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Governor Carlos Camacho Road, Tamuning, by the Onward Beach Resort.
Preliminary police reports suggest that at around 10:18 pm, four female tourists were walking by the Onward Beach Resort, when two men, armed with handguns demanded money.
The unknown men then fled with the tourists’ belongings in a light-colored sedan.
According to Guam Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao, the suspects were described as:
* Suspect 1: male, 5’10” height, 165-170 lbs. weight, having a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and dark pants with a black bandanna over his head, and with a red bandanna covering his face.
* Suspect 2: male, 5’2”-5’5” height, 155-165 lbs. Weight, having a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt and black pants with a red bandanna covering his face.
As a result of the robbery, the two victims sustained minor injuries. However, they refused any medical treatment.
