GPD Seeks Suspect in Tumon Sands Plaza Purse Snatching

Guam – Guam Police are looking for a suspect who snatched a man’s bag  in the Tumon Sands Plaza parking lot last Saturday night.

GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia says the robbery occurred about 8:25 pm. The victim says he was removing some items from his car when he was approached by a man who grabbed his Louis Vuitton bag and fled on foot.

The victim says he fell to the ground during the struggle and suffered abrasions to his left forearm.

The suspect is described by Officer Balajadia as being  possibly local; dark complexioned;  5 feet 10 inches tall;  slender build;  short black hair and wearing a black shirt and gray colored shorts.  

This case has been forwarded to the Robbery Task Force, Criminal Investigations Section.
