GPD to honor Top 6 Service Award

The Service Awards highlights the prestigiousness, value, and appreciation the Guam Police Department and six people have been given this award.

GPD honored six top awardees, commendable individuals who demonstrated an exceptional level of commitment and excellence in their respective fields, according to a press release. 

Police Officer of the year is awarded to Police Officer I, Eric Barcinas a Detective with the Crimes against Persons Unit with the Criminal Investigation Section.

The Civilian of the year was recognized by JennyKristie S. Wolford a Property Control Officer

The Supervisor of the year award went to Police Officer III, Jimmy Rosete

The Manager of the year award was bestowed to Police Sergeant II, John Gamboa

Additionally, the Civilian Police Reserve of the year award was received by LouieJoe Perez

While the Unit Citation was awarded to the Forensic Science Bureau.

GPD takes pride in the hard work and dedication of its officers, civilian employees, and volunteers towards providing optimum public safety services.

The department recognizes the importance of their commitment in building and maintaining a safe community for all.
