The Guam Fire Department announced that it had to close the Agat-Umatac Road due to a large grass fire.
GFD spokesman Kevin Reilly said that due to limited visibility from heavy smoke from the fire and emergency personnel and equipment working, GPD had to close the roadway.
As soon as it is safe for residents and GFD responders, the road will be reopened.
Reilly said motorists can expect delays and heavy traffic. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes.
