Over fifty local artists submitted art concepts themed “Where patients are partners…” Flores was selected to produce the art to be showcased in the main lobby of the new hospital.  “It’s only appropriate that I utilize a local resource to produce the art.” Flores said. A locally owned business, Express Signs & Graphics is producing the 26 pieces needed to complete the art piece. Elaine Kondo, graphic designer from Express Signs & Graphics said, “We’ve had a long working relationship with Dr. Flores and we are honored that she chose to work with us in producing the art.” “It’s a made in Guam product for all to appreciate and be proud of”, she added.

“This is testament of our commitment to be a part of the Guam community,” Bengzon said. “We are on par to open our doors this summer and look ahead to enhancing healthcare for the patients and families we serve.”

Slated for completion in the summer of 2014, the private hospital will offer world-class health services tailored to the needs of Guam and the Micronesia region. The Medical City (TMC), is a Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited Philippine healthcare organization, will operate GRMC.
