Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) will be making changes to its visiting policies, beginning Monday, May 4, 2020. These changes are aimed at easing some of the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

GRMC will still observe social distancing and all visitors must wear a mask at all times while in the hospital. Everyone entering GRMC must submit to screening by security for temperature and possible COVID-19 symptoms. Anyone who refuses to be screened or wear a mask will not be allowed to enter the hospital.

Visitors are not allowed to roam to other areas of the hospital. The only exception is to go to BOKA CITY cafeteria, City Café, ATM, gift shop, or the vending machines on the first floor.

GRMC will continue to observe its “No Food Allowed” policy and no food will be allowed into patient rooms.

Inpatients will be allowed to have one visitor per day for a period of one hour. Visiting hours will be daily from 9 AM to 6 PM; however, to comply with social distancing requirements, specific visiting times have been set. No extension of visitation will be allowed.

For more information regarding the allotted visiting times for a patient, call GRMC Customer Relations at 645-5500.
