GRTA launches shuttle servicing southern part of the island

The Guam Regional Transit Authority (GRTA) has announced the availability of the Southern Shuttle supporting the residents of Agat, Santa Rita, Umatac, Merizo, Inarajan, and Talofofo.

The Southern Shuttle provides residents a more expedient ride to the Southern Medical Center and Hagatna. To Hagatna, riders may connect with the Blue 2 at the Agat Mayor’s Office or Green Line at the Talofofo Mayor’s Office. The Shuttle also provides an opportunity for island residents to visit Southern Guam.

Complete bus schedules can be accessed at grta.guam.gov. The hours of operations are from 5:30 am until 7:30 pm Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays and observed holidays.

Interested individuals may call the Transit Management Center at 647-7433–35 for any other transit information.

GRTA Executive Manager Cel Babauta, encourages the people of Guam to utilize the Southern Shuttle as well as GRTA’s other transit services.
