Guam -After an extensive strategic review, GTA, Guam’s leading and longest serving communications provider has today [Wednesday] announced a complete rebranding that includes the launch of a new logo, tagline, and redesigned website.
In addition, changes to GTA’s retail stores, network improvements, and new product and service launches are planned for the near future.
“We rebranded GTA to demonstrate our company’s continued commitment to the island of Guam. While GTA is a well-known and trusted company with decades of service on Guam, we believe that these changes are necessary in order to continue to grow, compete effectively in today’s market, and improve the relationship between our people and the products and services we provide,” said Andrew Gayle, GTA chief operating officer.
The refreshed brand is the first since GTA became privatized in 2005 and centers around the iconic Proa and the theme that GTA is the communications company that helps all of Guam’s people ‘Sail Thru Life’ with the most technologically-advanced products and services to fit each customer’s unique needs wherever they live, work, or play. Previously, GTA used various sub-brands to identify each of its unique products, including MPulse Wireless, Spyder Broadband, and Guam Digital TV (GUdTV).
Gayle continued, “The modern, unifying brand identity we unveiled today encompasses all our products and services, including wireless, Internet, digital TV, home phone, and business services. We now have a consistent identity across everything we do and it is deeply rooted in our desire to be the communications brand that is at the heart of our community.”
Prior to rebranding, GTA undertook a review of its practices and in response began making immediate changes to transform the customer experience. This began in 2012 with operational improvements such as simplified product offers, network and customer service improvements, and a complete revamp of its website. Additionally, GTA will soon renovate all retail store locations providing a national retail experience.
“We held extensive surveys and focus groups asking our customers for their feedback and we are acting on it. This rebranding, together with our commitment to continue investing millions in our network and in our island, demonstrates our confidence that we can take Guam to new heights as technology evolves. GTA has been here for over 50 years and we look forward to providing many more years of service to the people of Guam.”
