GTA Employee Arrested For Theft of $10K in Cellular Phones

Guam – Guam Police have arrested a GTA employee on charges of stealing $10,000 worth of cellular phones from a GTA Kiosk at the GPO shopping center in Tamuning.

25 year old Jackie Egan of Yigo was arrested on charges of  Theft of  Property Held in Trust, Conspiracy to Commit Theft, Guilt Established by Complicity.

Guam Police Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia states that Egan “is accused of stealing GTA Cellular Phones from her place of work, and then sell them to individuals she knew.”

Also Arrested in this case was 25 year old Brandon Flores of Dededo on charges of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Guilt Established by Complicity.

Both Egan and Flores were booked and confined.

Officer Balajadia reports that additional arrest maybe pending and the case is still opened and remains under investigation.

ARREST IN OCEANVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL BURGLARY CASE

Monday,  September 27, 2010, 13 rooms were reportedly broken into at Oceanview Middle School over the weekend.  Yesterday, September 29, 2010, Agents following up on a lead arrested KAMERON RASHAWN TOPASNA, m/Cham/18/Agat, for 15 COUNTS OF BURGLARY, DESTRUCTION OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY, GUILT ESTABLISHED BY COMPLICITY.  He was booked and confined.

Additional arrest MAYBE pending.  The case is still opened and remains under investigation.

CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT / ARREST

Agents from the Crimes Against Persons Unit, Criminal Investigations Section following up on a 2008 case, arrested JEREMY JAMES FERNANDO, m/Cham/23, for 5 COUNTS FIRST DEGREE CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT, 2 COUNTS CHILD ABUSE, 2 COUNTS FAMILY VIOLENCE. He was booked and confined.

Mr. Fernando is accused of having a sexual relationship with then, a 13-yrs.-old female minor.

THEFT OF PROPERTY / GTA / ARREST

On September 22, 2010 it was reported to the Guam Police Department that approximately $10,000.00 dollars worth of Cellular Phones were stolen from the GTA Kiosk at GPO.  Arrested for THEFT OF PROPERTY HELD IN TRUST, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT THEFT OF PROPERTY, GUILT ESTABLISHED BY COMPLICITY is JACKIE EGAN, f/Cham/25/Yigo.

Ms. Egan is accused of stealing GTA Cellular Phones from her place of work, and then sell them to individuals she knew.

Also Arrested in this case is BRANDON FLORES, m/Cham.25/Dededo, for THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, and GUILT ESTABLISHED BY COMPLICITY.

Both Ms. Egan and Mr. Flores were booked and confined.

Additional arrest MAYBE pending.  The case is still opened and remains under investigation.
