Guam – GTA wireless customers are now able to make and receive calls and text messages when visiting a variety of international destinations including the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Hungary, India, and Luxembourg. Voice, text, and data roaming services are also available in the Netherlands, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Spain, and Turkey. These new roaming agreements are effective Wednesday, October 3, 2012.
Roland Certeza, executive vice president of sales and marketing at GTA said, “We’re happy to be able to provide roaming in more countries. Many of our customers travel extensively throughout the world for business and leisure activities. It is important that we are able to provide these additional roaming destinations for their convenience.”
GTA currently provides roaming services to 60 countries. The company first began providing wireless service in Guam back in January of 2006. GTA continues to offer voice, text, and data roaming to a multitude of national and international destinations.
