A local business establishment is giving back, focusing on supporting island youth with the Magic of Giving
GTA, a local communications service company, is spreading the joy of giving this holiday season with their Magic of Giving holiday campaign.
On their second year of participating in the Giving Tuesday movement, GTA community relations manager Michele Catahay Perez says that GTA’s participation gives not just island residents, but also employees, the opportunity to give back to organizations they feel connected to.
“Really, the reason why we’re doing this is because we really want to give back to the community. We’ve always been a company that cared about the community and so by allowing people to make these donations benefit these non-profit groups, it’s really our way of giving back in that way,” Perez said.
She added: “GTA has been really big on supporting our youth in the community and so we really thought about supporting non-profit organizations that really help our youth.”
Any $3 or more donations GTA receives for their campaign from now to the end of this month will be given a limited edition Magic of Giving Reusable bag.
All proceeds will go to the following non-profit groups they have partnered with this year: Alee Women and Children’s Shelters, HunterSpeaks, and I’famagu’on-ta.
