
To wrap up its Magic of Giving campaign, GTA presented checks to three local nonprofit organizations at the GTA Experience Center.
It’s a tradition the company is hoping to continue.
The local telecom company launched the Magic of Giving in December, with the creation of PopSockets that represent each local non-profit organization honored — Harvest House, Sanctuary Incorporated, and the Rigalu Foundation.
Each organization received nearly $1,000 each from the sale of PopSockets in the name of each charity organization. They were also each given a $5,000 donation from GTA.
“Being a part of the magic of giving was such a big thing for us and so meaningful because we were able to tell their stories,” GTA Marketing and Communications Specialist Michele Catahay-Perez said.
She added that the magic of giving was the beginning of a new corporate social platform to promote youth empowerment and education and the campaign is set to carry throughout the year.
