Guam – In its continuing effort to create a seamless transition of legal services provided by the Office of the Attorney General, and to meet the challenges posed by the anticipated increase in Guam’s population from the military build-up, newly sworn in Attorney General Lenny Rapadas today [Wednesday] announced that his management team.
Those members are:
* Chief Deputy Attorney General Phillip J. Tydingco
* Deputy Attorney General J. Patrick Mason (Civil/Solicitors Division)
* Deputy Attorney General Barbara P. Cepeda (Child Support Enforcement Division)
* Deputy Attorney General Carol Hinkle-Sanchez (Family/Juvenile Division).
The management team he said will also include newly appointed Chief Prosecutor J. Basil O’Mallan (Prosecution Division).
Rapadas has pledged to attack all aspects of the daunting case loads faced by the prosecution, civil/solicitors, family/juvenile, and child support enforcement divisions.. And the deputies and their respective divisions have been directed by Rapadas to vigorously represent and seek justice on behalf of the People of Guam, as well as to expeditiously respond to agency inquiries and review procurement contracts in a fair, just and professional manner.
In addition, Bryan J. Cruz will temporarily continue as the public information officer. Attorney General Rapadas has expressed his confidence in his team, and has stated that, “ I have always said that the Office of the Attorney General has an excellent attorney and support staff.”
