Guam Airmen graduate from Customs & Quarantine Training Academy

Senior Airman Meilani Quintanilla was selected as valedictorian of her graduating class.

After many months of hard work, four Guam Guard Airmen graduated from the Guam Customs and Quarantine’s 11th Training Academy on Friday, Jan. 31, at the Lotte Hotel in Tumon.

They were hired in April 2019 and had to undergo extensive training in the Guam Community College’s criminal justice program, meet the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission requirements, as well as complete the Customs technical training program.

In the end, four Airmen earned their badges and Senior Airman Meilani Quintanilla was selected as Valedictorian of her graduating class.

The other Airmen are Senior Airman Mark Blas, Airman First Class Rollie Boy Marquez and Airman First Class Kurtis Silva.
