Guam Beauty Organization Seeking Contestants for Miss Universe Guam 2016

Guam – The search is on for one lovely young woman to represent Guam on the world stage as Miss Universe Guam.


The Guam Beauty Organization is accepting candidates to compete for the title of Miss Universe Guam 2016. According to a release, the Miss Universe pageant is an international event with an anticipated 190 contestants. If you’re interested in becoming the next Miss Universe Guam, contestants must be: A natural female, ages 18 to 26, in excellent mental and physical health, single and never before married, and never had a child. In addition to an opportunity to serve as a voice to influence positive change around the world, Miss Universe Guam will represent the island at the Miss Universe pageant, all expenses paid, and will receive over $20-thousand in gifts and prizes.

Miss Universe Guam Spokesperson Jacqueline Sablan says, “The mission of the Guam Beauty Organization and Miss Universe Guam is above all, spread the Hafa Adai Spirit and we’d like to do that with her warm smile and demeanor. We’d also like to promote and showcase our culture, our island and our people to the other nations and lastly, instill confidence in our ladies.”
