Guam census headquarters opened

Island leaders help cut the ribbon during the opening of the 2020 Census of Guam headquarters.

With scissors in one hand and a ribbon in the other, several island leaders celebrated the opening of the 2020 Census of Guam headquarters earlier this morning.

According to a release, the facility – which is located at the Century Plaza in Tamuning – will serve officials overseeing the upcoming decennial survey.

Such officials include Terrina Long, the island’s 2020 Census Advisor, who will ensure the accuracy of the data collection and will act as the primary liaison between the Census Bureau and the Bureau of Statistics and Plans.
