Following the declaration of PCOR 2, the 2020 Census of Guam has resumed operations.
The pandemic pushed back the 2020 Census of Guam’s operations by about seven weeks, but the staff remains confident that they will get back on schedule once they begin collecting data again in June.
Census spokesperson Nikki Muna Quinata says residents will now have the option to complete the census over the phone.
“Census workers will deliver a notice of visit to every household on the island in early June. The notice will include a phone number and hours of operation to complete the 2020 Census over the phone,” Quinata said.
Quinata says that all data collection will be done with proper social distancing measures and protective equipment.
