The Chamber President, David Leddy, spoke on how Guam is in such a pivotal time as there are many transitions happening for the island, including the preparations for the military build up. He mentioned that we are right in the middle of when trade occurs. Leddy mentions that the expo will grant small businesses the opportunity to team up with large organizations and corporations to enhance their business ventures. Business owners will have the chance to have direct communication with fellow entrepreneurs for a stronger networking capability.
The event will feature a small business forum, Business Matchmaking session, and an After Hours Mixer. Additionally, the Chamber will formally announce the company who will be recognized as the 2015 Small Business Excellence Award recipient.
Leddy adds, “The great thing about this thursday is that we’re going to have all these companies under one roof. It’s open to the public. So if you are an entrepreneur or even a university student, and you’re interested in business or have a great idea, come down and meet the businesses. There will be a lot of value and a lot of content at the expo.”
