Guam Customs: No Illicit Drugs Found During GPD Sweep


Guam – Guam Customs Spokesman Lt. Ferdinand Soriano says that no illicit drugs were found during today’s sweep of Guam Polcie Headquarters. 

Soriano said that Guam Customs has been directed by the Governor  to work with other GovGuam agencies to promot a dru free work places.

Customs’ Drug Detector Dog Unit, at the request of the Chief of Police, swept the GPD headquarters in Tiyan, the Agana and Tamuning/Tumon precincts, and the Matapang Beach Koban for drugs.

The officers and their drug-sniffing dogs did not find any drugs.

Customs has been directed by the Governor to work with other agencies in promoting a government-wide drug-free work place.

“Chief Bordallo and I wanted to demonstrate to the people that we are abiding by the drug-free work place policies we are promoting throughout the government,” Customs director Pedro Leon Guerrero said.
