Guam DOE to TEFAP recipients: Bring extra bags, more food to be distributed


The Guam Department of Education is advising eligible TEFAP recipients to bring additional bags or a mobile cart to the food distribution center because additional quantities of commodities will be distributed every Tuesday until further notice.  

The Emergency Food Assistance Program, known as TEFAP, is administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service, 

According to a release from the Guam Department of Education, the USDA Food Commodities distribution agency will be open on Tuesdays only from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
