March 10, 2014 – The Guam Environmental Protection Agency today recognized Buena Vista Environmental LLC for assisting with the cleanup of illegally dumped cooking oil.
Buena Vista assisted in cleaning up 13 five-gallon containers of cooking oil that were illegally dumped earlier this week. The company is permitted to accept fats, oil and grease (FOG) and non-hazardous contaminated soils.
“We would like to extend our thanks to Buena Vista for responding to the situation and offering their services to protect environmental assets of our community,” said Guam EPA Administrator Eric M. Palacios. “As Earth Day approaches, we encourage all companies to incorporate ways they can contribute to our environment.”
