Guam Girl Scouts Sell Record Number of Cookies in 2010

Guam – The Guam Girl Scouts made record sales last year and are already prepared to roll out this year’s batch of cookies.

It’s not just about cookies. The cookie program teaches girls the valuable life skills of managing money, interacting with people, developing goals, making decisions, and business ethics. The girls have worked hard to set a new record and today during a press conference the top sellers made the announcement of their record breaking year. “Thank you for coming to the first ever press conference conducted by the Guam Girl Scouts my name is Kaylani Crisostomo I have been a girl scout for ten years today we will be reporting our record breaking girl scout cookie sales,” said Kaylani Crisostomo. “This year the Guam Girl Scouts sold a record breaking 62 thousand 148 boxes of cookies no matter what your favorite flavor is we sold a lot of cookies,” said Kirida Quinata.

Cost-U-Less, Angoco’s trucking, Dickerson & Quinn and Horizon Lines were recognized by the Girl Scouts for their long-term support of the Guam Girl Scouts program.
